Agreement

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using wordlesolver.online (the “site”) you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Scope

What the service is

WordleSolver provides free, browser-based word tools — a Wordle clue solver, a rack-letter word finder, and a five-letter word-list explorer — together with editorial guides about word-game rules and strategy. The tools are informational aids. They suggest candidate words from an English word list; they do not play any game for you and do not guarantee a correct or winning answer.

Independence

No affiliation with game publishers

WordleSolver is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The New York Times Company, Wordle, Hasbro, Zynga, Mattel, or any other owner of a word or board game. Trademarks and game names are used only to describe the puzzles the tools can help with, and remain the property of their respective owners.

Your responsibilities

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Reasonable, good-faith personal and educational use of the tools is welcome.

Ownership

Intellectual property

The site design, original text, guides, and the arrangement and presentation of the tools are owned by the operator of WordleSolver and are protected by copyright. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link. You may not reproduce a full page or a large part of the site without permission.

The underlying vocabulary is generated from the open-source wordlist-english package and is subject to its own licence. Individual English words are not owned by anyone.

Limits

Word data and accuracy

The tools work from a broad English word list of roughly 24,000 words, about 3,400 of them five letters long. This list is not any specific game’s official dictionary. A word shown by the site may be valid English yet not be an accepted guess or a possible answer in a particular game, and vice versa. Always check the dictionary required by the game you are playing when validity matters. Letter-frequency and ranking figures are described as coverage of our word list, not as the probability of any day’s answer.

As is

No warranty

The site and its tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that results will meet your expectations.

Liability

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of WordleSolver will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, opportunity, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the site. Because the site is provided free of charge, the operator’s total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to USD 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Ads

Advertising and third-party links

The site is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense and may contain links to third-party sites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, or practices. How advertising cookies work and how to opt out is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time, and we may update these terms. Material changes are indicated by updating the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use the site after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.

Jurisdiction

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the site operator resides, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights available to you under the law of your own country of residence.
